About the book

The poems and tale in "Flower of Hope" (Laelyn) by Tomi Jael Omotowa show the many different ways one’s life might go. Adolescent life is chronicled in this work. The book is written in very simple language since the author believes that the experiences she had in high school and the emotions she faces every day have given her the ability to express herself in ways she never thought possible.

The book is divided into three sections, one for each of the three kings. We are all familiar with the story:

the guys followed a star in the hopes of finding something spectacular. The book’s title conveys a sense of hope that things will get better soon. The book’s first part, titled "Fear and Desire," is structured like the stages of the three wise men’s journey. They were looking for Jesus' birthplace and thought the star would lead them there. The poems in this section express hope that one’s dreams and aspirations will be achieved, while also reflecting on one’s previous failures and how they contribute to the greater good.

The second part of the book is titled "Love and Evil," and it examines some of the difficulties you may face in achieving your goal. They were determined to reach their destination and did not let anything stand in their way, in contrast to the three wise men. Here we talk about love, which plays a small role in the story
