Nnewi (Agban'ano) by Godson O. Moneke: Book Spotlight
Published by Harmony Publishing

About the book
Nnewi (Agban'ano) is a book of readings on the history, peoples and traditional institutions of Nnewi, by Godson O. Moneke, published by Harmony Publishing.
Moneke's account of how the town got its name is cited by Nnewi Advancement Charity UK: four confederating communities chose it after the Agban'ano covenant, at the place now called Nkwo Triangle, and in this view 'Nnewi' is a corruption of NNA-EWII, the seal of the covenant.
