What the team does

• Writes the guides on self-publishing, book printing, editing, ghostwriting, cover design and what each costs.
• Keeps the package, price and printing pages in line with the prices Harmony Publishing publishes.
• Reviews each guide again when a price, a platform rule or a fact it depends on changes.
• Checks reports of mistakes from readers.

How a page is reviewed

1. Sources first. A fact is taken from the platform's, printer's or publisher's own pages, or from an official body. Where a figure depends on a source, the page names it.
2. Our own prices come from the published lists. Package prices and printing prices are read from the live package list and the printer's quoted rates, not retyped by hand.
3. Every guide shows when it was last reviewed. The date changes only when the page has been checked again.
4. We say when it is our own service. Pages that mention Harmony Publishing are written by Harmony Publishing, and should be read with that in mind.
5. Mistakes are corrected. If you find one, tell us on the contact page and we will check it.
